Ben Nye Translucent Powders
I picked up some more Ben Nye Translucent powders! I previously purchased Topaz but wanted to try Banana. I don't know if this will suit my complexion but I was told it really blends well with women with my skin tone. I also picked up the color Camel. The powders are butter soft and feel super smooth on the skin. In this photo I have on Topaz.

Hi, could you tell me the difference between the Topaz and Camel ? I do have banana and Camel.Camel gives a glow to my skin, but it makes it darker a little bit. I am wearing foundation in NC40. I couldn't find the swatches of the other two on your website. Please give me some clue about the colors and finishes.

Hi, Topaz has more of a yellow undertone where as Camel, to me has a more caramel undertone. I also like banana but when I use it, I do so very sparingly as it is a little too white finishing for my complexion.

DeleteHi there, how does camel compare to topaz colour wise? Is one lighter/darker than the other? I know you've said about the undertone but I was wondering about the colour in general. I'd like to get one and would prefer one with a neutral tone. I have yellow undertone and am between nc44 and nc45
ReplyDeleteHi, The Topaz is lighter than Camel, but not by much. If you want to go lighter your best bet is Banana. Topaz again has a yellow/orange effect to it but it's not lighter than Camel.
